Horse 4H part 3 :)

Elanor ready for her riding evaluation. Riding Kimber, of course, her favorite! :)

Tallulah watching her awesome big sister riding. She loves to watch her sisters on the horses!

More sand to play with. Hooray! :)
Elanor riding. Walking first, then trotting. She did awesome! Though she was sad I didn't get a video of her loping...

Adelle ready for her first riding evaluation! On BT - her favorite!
Adelle walking and then trotting on BT. She did a wonderful job for her first time!

Cowgirl sisters!
All done riding, waiting for the barbeque and awards to be announced.

Silly girls. :)

My portfolio is awesome!

Little ham. :D

So proud of what she's accomplished!

Loving her cowgirl clothes!
And the awards! Sorry about the bad resolution... I need a better camera. :) They both got blue ribbons on their portfolios/riding evaluations. Adelle's first year, Elanor's second. Adelle did General Equitation. Elanor did General Equitation for the 2nd year, and Working Ranch Horse for the first time. I love how super excited Julian is for them!

They've both worked really hard, and done an awesome job. Every year I wonder if the effort and time is worth it, and every year I decide it is. :) They have learned and grown so much. They will both be riding in the county fair horse show/competition on August 2nd, and are SO excited about it! Anyone is welcome to come watch! It's free at the fairgrounds. There's really not a set schedule, just an order of events. Adelle will be riding in 2 events, Elanor in 5 or 6 or 7... Something like that. :)

Horse 4H part 2

  Washing the horses before evaluations.

Washing Kimber!

Good thing there's lots of sand for little girls to play in! :)

 Aren't big brothers wonderful?!? :)

Horse 4H

Adelle doing her presentation on Horse Feet. :)

Julian being an awesome big brother, entertaining the baby. They have both been so patient this year, waiting at all the meetings and riding lessons... They're good buddies!

At a field trip with the 4H club, visiting a horse training facility. It was really neat!

Lots of super fun!

Lots of beautiful horses. Holy cow, they can get expensive! I don't remember how much he said this one was worth, but there were several that were $30,000+!

The buddies again! Good thing they like horses, too!

We even got to see a baby horse! SO cute!
