Adelle is our bug lover. She loves bugs more than just about anything. She's the one who will find an earwig in the house and carefully pick it up and carry it outside. The one who will spend hours turning over rocks in the flower bed to find handfuls of worms. And who tries to carry handfuls of ants into the house to delightedly show her mommy.
Yesterday we were out feeding the animals. On our way back inside, she pointed and said, "Mommy, what's that bug?!?" and then it came and landed on her finger. It was a beautiful dragonfly. She was THRILLED! And it even stayed there long enough for me to run in the house and get my camera!
The field where Max has football practice is full of huge dragonflies. Literally thousands of them. It is amazing and annoying all at the same time. More amazing than annoying because they keep the mosquitos at bay. Adelle would love it there.
